Queen of the Moon Oracle Box Back

First Look at the Queen of the Moon Oracle

Queen of the Moon Oracle Box Front

The Queen of the Moon Oracle deck comes in a cardboard box measuring 4 inches wide, 5.5 inches tall and 1.5 inches deep. The box has a matt finish.

Each card is 3.5 inches wide and 5 inches tall, typical of Oracle card sizes, and come in a glossy finish. I’ve already used the cards for a few readings now, and I am happy to share that the edges of the cards have not peeled off, and I hope they don’t for a long time. But I also want to share that I like my cards in pristine condition, so I do shuffle them carefully. Personally, I am not a fan of glossy cards, as they’re slightly stickier than cards with a matt finish.

Queen of the Moon Oracle Cards

The guide book that comes with is 3.5 inches wide and 5 inches tall as well, and has a glossy finish on the book cover. I really like self contained decks where the guide book is the same size as the cards, and fit snugly into the box without moving around within. So this is a plus point for me.

Card Spreads

The card spreads described in the guide book has the typical single-card Oracle and three-card Oracle spreads that you can find in a lot of Oracle decks. I found the following two spreads to be more unique to this deck.

Full Lunar Cycle Spread

Queen of the Moon Oracle Traditional Seven-card and Full Lunar Cycle Spreads

The full lunar cycle spread involves laying out cards 1-28 in a circle, then using the remaining cards 29-44 to pull a three-card reading in the middle, depicted by A, B and C in the image. Cards 1-28 describes all the moon phases that happens in a lunar cycle (Dark Moon to Waning Crescent 5), so the time period this reading is effective for, is assumed to be for one lunar cycle. The reading is drawn the usual way, with an uncluttered mind focused on the question. Card A depicts the most important thing you need to know about the question posed. Card B depicts the most important action you need to take. Card C depicts the positive outcome of taking the recommended action.

Seasonal Spread

Queen of the Moon Oracle Seasonal Spread

The seasonal spread only uses cards 29-40 for the reading as these cards are seasonal moon cards (Wolf Moon to Long Night Moon). This is the spread to use if you have a time sensitive question. i.e. When is the right time for you to move house/change jobs? When will you find a new partner? The reading is drawn the usual way, with an uncluttered mind focused on the question. Card 1 represents the positive aspect of the question posed. Card 2 represents the difficulty / barrier inherent in the situation. Card 3 answers the timing aspect of your question. Each seasonal card is meant to represent one lunar cycle / month in time, starting from card 29 Wolf Moon representing January, to card 40 Long Night Moon representing December, depending on which card you drew, you will know which month the card represents.

How Does it Read?

I tried my hand at the Seasonal Spread as I was wondering when a situation would look up for me. And these were the cards I drew.

Queen of the Moon Oracle Cards

The positive aspect of the situation is that what’s happening right now is not worth ruffling my feathers over. The Hot Moon card advises I build my resilience and develop grace under pressure, as even extreme situations will pass.

The barrier for this situation is taking action, as shown by the Beaver Moon card, a card about Creation. My interpretation of this is that even if I am taking action, there is a barrier to how much positive impact I can make towards achieving my end goal.

From a timing perspective, this situation will improve itself by October (Cards 29-40 represents January to December, and I drew card 38), which has been a consistent prediction provided to me by various other readers on this same situation I was thinking about.

Summary

It’s a typical sized Oracle deck with the guide book in the same size, so everything is conveniently self contained in the box for easy transportation. Card stock is glossy, so don’t get it if that’s your pet peeve. I had no problems connecting with the deck to get accurate readings (accuracy verified by enquirers, not my own biased opinion) since I got it.

About Me

Estrella Chua Hello, I am Estrella, aka Crafty Fang. I work with tarot cards, oracle cards and pendulums to provide guidance for people on their life in general, career or love life. I am happy to channel Reiki healing energy as well, for people who are open to receiving them.

Testimonials

Crafty Fang did an amazing job in reading the cards. Her reading was not only interpreting the meaning of each cards but also interpreting how it means in my life journey. At times, her reading sounded spookily close to the truth. I am indeed so amazed. What was meant to be just for fun turned out to be wonderfully revealing. She’s really got some talent here as if she is a seer from a fantasy book. One can draw the cards and read the guide book but Crafty Fang “read” bits of my life.

Well, it’s my first time doing tarot reading and I saw this post and decided to give it a go. The seller is very informative and shared a lot about what I need to know based on the question I asked! Not only the seller does a breakdown of each and every card in great detail as some points are not clear, but the seller is kind and friendly and devoted to clearing my doubts. The reading is quite accurate to me and the seller let me know about what I should do to improve the situation!

She is patient with her explanation. She also gave me guidance towards my spiritual journey as well. 🙏 Thank you! She pulled out two oracle cards for me that resonates with me. Those are things that I am also currently working towards, it gave me the affirmation. Thank you 🙏
